Practice areas

Adam is a member of the Ansons dispute resolution team and works with business clients across Staffordshire to resolve problems in a number of areas:

Employment law

As part of Ansons’ employment retainer service, Adam advises employers on a wide range of employment law issues, such as: service contracts and associated documents; disciplinary and grievance policies and procedures; redundancies; maternity, paternity and adoption leave; re-organisations and re-structuring; the application of the TUPE regulations. He also has experience of acting for employees and employers in bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal, unlawful discrimination and claims under the TUPE regulations.

Property disputes

Adam assists private landlords in recovering possession of their properties and unpaid rental arrears under sections 8 and 21 of the Housing Act 1988. He also advises on tenancy deposit schemes.

Debt recovery & enforcement

He assists individuals and businesses of all sizes in recovering outstanding debts using a number of methods. He also acts for debtors in negotiating settlements with creditors in order to avoid bankruptcy or insolvency.

Contractual disputes

Adam has experience in acting for claimants and defendants in relation to various contractual disputes and other claims relating to defective goods and unsatisfactory workmanship.


Adam is a keen gardener and grows a variety of vegetables throughout the year. In his spare time he enjoys live music and stand-up comedy, and plays squash and badminton.

He also relishes the opportunity to experience food from different cultures and experiment with his own creations.
