Adam is an Associate Director working within Ansons dispute resolution department. He has been with the firm since 2010, and currently acts as the firm’s Risk Manager.

Recognised in the Legal 500 for his expertise in commercial litigation, he helps business clients across the Midlands and further afield.

His broad knowledge and experience of corporate, employment and commercial property matters, enables him to see the bigger picture and navigate a course through all manner of commercial disputes. He has particular expertise in the following areas:



Recent experience includes:

  • Unfair prejudice (section 994 of the Companies Act 2006) proceedings relating to a company worth in excess of £24 million, involving claims of malfeasance and breach of duty.
  • Defending a director (and minority shareholder) accused of misappropriation and breach of fiduciary duty.
  • Acting for a claimant in a breach of warranty claim relating to a demerger agreement.
  • Acting for the Petitioner in proceedings for the just and equitable winding-up of a solvent company.
  • Successfully opposing injunctive proceedings in the High Court which sought to prevent the removal of a director.
  • Various dilapidations claims.
  • Opposing injunctive proceedings sought to prevent access to commercial property.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys climbing, gardening and spending time outdoors with his family.
