Sarah is the head of Ansons’ Wills, Probate and Trusts team. She has more than 20 years’ experience of advising on a wide range of private client matters including:

  •  Wills
  •  Administration of Estates
  •  Trusts
  •  Inheritance Tax planning
  •  Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship

Sarah qualified as a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) in 2008, gaining a distinction in her examinations. As a member of STEP, Sarah has specialist knowledge and experience of advising clients in relation to the preservation of family wealth and succession planning. Through working alongside her clients’ other professional advisers, Sarah has developed a reputation for her technical knowledge, her attention to detail and her ability to develop a good working relationship with clients.


Key specialisms include:

  •  Estate planning for farmers, landowners and business owners (wills, tax planning, personal and business lasting powers of attorney)
  •  All aspects of trusts (setting-up, administration, tax reporting and accounts, re-structuring and winding-up)
  •  Wills and trusts for vulnerable or disabled persons

Sarah has presented seminars for accountancy and financial professionals, written blogs and done radio interviews on the topics of wills, probate and trusts.


In her spare time, Sarah enjoys ballroom and latin dancing, baking, walking her dog and learning Greek.
